Everyone has setbacks in life, but only few have childhoods as nightmarish as Gurjot Kaur's. Growing up in two different cultures, she faced mental and sexual abuse, cultural taboos, an unsafe home environment, and a family that abandoned her and eventually cast her out.This book is about her life thus far and the harmful generational patterns she has experienced-and broken. Gurjot now has the freedom to live life her way. Despite the trauma she has endured, she is strong and headed straight for her goal. Misery has ultimately empowered her and provided her with additional motivation to continue living her life.
